Reviews
This cafe is a creative hodgepodge of inspiration. A place to cafe lounge and chit chat.
It’s the atmosphere you go here for, not food. The serve food in the tray used in elementary schools. It’s a cute cafe right next to the guest house.
English service ok

I think it's a good atmosphere
However, it is a popular store so it can get crowded.
I stopped by for a break from walking.
The classroom-like interior and the narrow passageway leading to the guest house are nostalgic.
The store clerk's apron looks like a school lunch uniform, but it's cute, and the loose coasters with different colors for each color are also cute. I’m a fan of yellow coasters🟡
The restroom is located at the back of the guest house, at the end of the hallway.
On the first floor of the guesthouse, the kotatsu in the tea room, which appears to be a common space for guests, and the vertical washing machine for guests (for a fee) placed outdoors in the backyard are reminiscent of scenes from Showa era manga and anime. It was fun to do it.
I was visiting Onomichi and was wandering around the shopping district, and I saw something in front of this store that had a nostalgic retro feel to it, which really caught my attention, and I was getting thirsty, so I decided to have some tea.
Even when I walked inside, it felt like a wooden school building, and everywhere I looked I felt nostalgic.
It may seem fresh to young people today, but for someone my age, it just feels nostalgic, as if I've traveled back in time.
I like new stores, but I also like stores like this.
This is a shop full of retro things! This shop is located in a shopping district, and the shopping district itself has many retro Showa-era scenes.
I searched the internet for something similar to school lunches, found this shop, and went to visit it, and it was a personal hit! !
Meals are served on silver trays and plates, sauces for side dishes come in gumshiro containers often seen at coffee shops, and children's tableware and chopsticks are nostalgic! ! It was something that made me want to say that.
The food was also very satisfying!
My child ordered cider and ramune, but unfortunately they were not able to take them home as they were only available locally and the bottles were returned in the old-fashioned way. . .
Although it's a little far from my home, I wanted to try different kinds of school lunches, so I wanted to go again!
